Bedford Museum

Housed in the former Higgins and Sons Brewery, Bedford's Museum's collections reflect the history of the area. You'll hear of the villainous Falkes de Breaute whose antics led to the siege of Bedford Castle in 1224.

There's a wonderful medieval tile pavement from Warden Abbey.

Bedford Museum has a coffee machine and a seating area, as well as a shop. A wheelchair can be borrowed and there is a lift.

Located in the town centre close to The Embankment and a short walk from the Bedford Bus Station and Railway Station.  The nearest public car park is at Lurke Street.
