The Brogborough Gateway trail is an interesting 3.5 mile walk centred around the ancient woodland of Hulcot Wood and the newly planted woodland of Reynold Wood.
The route follows mainly permissive paths giving spectacular views of the Marston Vale and Greensand Ridge. (Paths can become very boggy during winter months.) For full details of the walk from the picnic site - the Brogborough Gateway Trail- please see www.marstonvale.org/outabout/brogborough/trail.html
There are beautiful views over the edge of the Forest of Marston Vale, and woodland walks through Reynold and Hulcote Woods.
A permanent orienteering course is set up throughout these woods. Set up by South Midlands orienteering Club, there are maps available from the Forest Centre - which cost £1 plus a stamped addressed envelope.
Situated off the A421 close to Junction 13 of the M1, this is also a popular picnic spot.
