Exhibition of Watercolours by Colin Bee NDD November 1 @ 10:30 am - November 30 @ 4:30 pm
Colin was originally inspired by the architecture and seascapes of the Amalfi Coast and explores the use of perspective and vibrant colour in his paintings. Building on his career where he worked in pen and ink on presentations to clients within an architectural practice, his exhibition will display the diversity of his work since retirement. All welcome, admission free to the gallery only.
Lace Makers celebrate St Catherine’s Day November 25 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
Come and watch lacemakers from St Albans and Olney join together to celebrate the tradition of St Catherine’s Day. Usual admission applies.
Night Time Guided Spooky Walk December 14 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Night Time Walk to Explore some of the hidden corners and alleyways of the town
We’ll try to arrange spooky mist and dry weather too. If you have any local myths and legends, or local ghostly stories to share, do contact us.
The route is paved but comfortable shoes are recommended Don’t forget to bring a torch to light your way. Mince Pies , Hot Chocolate and Mulled Wine in the Courtyard at the end of the tour
Meet with the group and guide outside the Museum at 7.30. The tour will take about one and a half hours. Adults £10.00 / Children under 16 £2.00 Pay on the day
Please note that some of this route is along unpaved roads and care should be taken.
