It was always the dream of John and Betty to own a cafe, and finding the cafe in the heart of Olney, Bucks has been a perfect time for the couple after their three children flew the nest.

Now we welcome children who love scooping their own sweets and weighing them on our traditional scales!

Olney is known for the pancake race and its literary associations with writers Cowper and Newton, and a connection to the abolitionist movement. This is a thriving Georgian market town with a renowned museum. The independent High Street depends on both visitors and local people visiting the town and we aim to show what there is to explore, enjoy and experience here to fulfill our mission: to help local businesses and community groups thrive. Visit Olney is paid for by the generous support of partners from the town, whose businesses are listed on our Visit Olney homepage.
