Weston Underwood is quaint - the very epitome of the English village. Enjoy a walk, drive or ride from Olney.
William Cowper, the poet resided here for several years, during the latter part of his life. His walks around the place inspired many of his desciptions of nature.
Wander to Cowpers Alcove by taking the first turning right before the cottages as you approach from Olney. Here the poet, Cowper sat composing.
The Old Post Office which is now unfortunately closed offers a picture postcard view of English rural life.
There is still a pub in the village though. The Cowper's Oak is a traditional pub complete with beer garden and terrace as well as real fires on colder days.
